The years of the writer's life are 1860-1904. He has written many stories and plays. I like his stories ‘A Horse surname’, ‘The Thick man and The thin man’, ‘Vanka’ and ‘Chameleon’.

I am fond of humorous stories and legends and myths. So one of my favourite writer is A. Chehov.

started to find out who is an owner of the puppy. His decision about the ending of an affair depend on who is the owner: rich or poor man. Nobody knew who is the owner, people said different names. Ochumelov was nervous. When he heard a name of the rich man he praised the puppy and abused bitten Mr Hrjukin. When he heard a name of a poor man he threatened to punish the puppy’s owner.
The policeman was a like a chameleon. Readers laugh at him.
Mr. Hrjukin offended the puppy. Therefore the puppy bit Mr. Hrjukin. Ochumelov and Hrjukin are negative heroes of the story.
