The town has an excellent placement for the following reasons: it’s near the river, the city serves as a major commercial and trade center of the region. The important railway station of the Baikalo-Amyrskaya Railroad is situated in Belogorsk. The citizens are happy to have this kind of mainstream road. For most of them it is the only way to earn for their living.
