Maths, Russian, English, Literature, History, Biology, Music, Art, and P.E. all the subjects are important. I like them all, but most of all I like Russian and English. At the Russian lessons the teacher asks questions. We answer very well and get good marks. Then we write dictations and learn rules. At the English lessons we read books in English, do some exercises or describe pictures. Sometimes I take English books from our school library. It’s my home reading. I spend a lot of time studying grammar. I like to study a lot.

After school they can go to the sporting clubs and complexes. All kind of sports are popular in Russia. Football, gymnastics and tennis are the most popular. I go in for table-tennis. Sometimes I go to the tennis courts. In Great Britain the most popular sports are horse riding, golf and football.

very big and beautiful. There are three reading-halls there. I have a reading card. A lot of people go to the library on weekends. I like reading. I usually take interesting books. I like to read short stories about animals, fairy-tales and comics. Sometimes I read poems. The library in my school is not very big. It is light and nice. There are six tables and many bookcases there. I can sit on a sofa and read a book. The librarian can help me to find the book I need. Pupils go to the library to take and read books, newspapers and magazines. Many teachers go to the library too.

Sometimes I play on the beach, make castles on the sand. I can spend my holidays in the country, too. In the woods I can swim and bathe in the river. Very often, I help my granny. I gather tomatoes, cucumbers or other vegetables in the garden. When summer is over, I always feel sorry.

They sledge and have a fight with snowballs. I like to make a snowman. Some people go to the mountains. They like to go tobogganing in white woods. In winter people celebrate Christmas and New Year.

In Sochi I can bathe, go boating and swimming. I can also lie in the sun on the beach. In the evening we can go for a walk. Park Riviera is green and beautiful. There are many cafés there. We can eat ice-cream and drink juice. I can hike in the mountains. There is much snow in the mountains in summer. We have a lot of fun. When it’s time to go home, I’m sorry to leave Sochi.

all I like my winter holidays. Winter holidays begin

at the and of December. We celebrate New Year’s Day during the holidays. On the 31st of December I decorate a New Year tree. I put balls, flags, toys, lights and sweets on the New Year tree. They are red, green, yellow, blue and orange. My mother cooks a tasty dinner and I usually help her. We put presents under the New Year tree. We watch our president on TV. At night we open the boxes with presents. At New Year’s night there are many people in the streets. They sing songs, dance and have a lot of fun. My winter holidays are nice and funny.

of the town. There I can buy stamps, postcards and envelopes. I can send a telegram or write a letter to my friend. I write the address on the envelope. I drop a letter in a letter-box. At the post-office there is a window where we can pay our bills: rent, telephone, gas and electricity. I can also send a parcel. The clerk weighs it and I put stamps on it. When my friend gets the parcel, he is very happy.

They are talented dancers and singers. People wait for beginning of the play in the hall. They can sit in the comfortable armchairs or on the sofa. In the hall you can see photos on the walls. There is always a small café` on the ground floor. There you can have a cup of hot coffee, juice or tea with cakes. I like to visit the theatre.

I have got many coins. I like my hobby.

Sometimes children can feed animals. Monkeys love eating bananas and fruit. I like to ride a pony and eat ice-cream at the zoo.

When my friends come to my place, they can feed my pet. In the evening we watch TV together. Sometimes Nick can fly across the flat. Nick likes to sit on my shoulder or on my head. I love my pet very much.
