Big Ben

It’s the symbol of Great Britain and one of the most beautiful sights of London.
It’s the largest and the most famous clock in the world.
Official name of the tower is the “Westminster Palace Clock Tower” or “St. Stephen's Tower”.
Big Ben is a clock tower. It is 315 feet (96.0 m) high.

There are a lot of places of interest in London.

Westminster Palace One of the most beautiful buildings in London is Westminster Palace.

Westminster Abbey

The political centre of London is Westminster. This is also known as the Houses of Parlament..
Westminster Abbey, is more a historical site than a religious site. Since 1066 every royal coronation, with the exception of Edward V and Edward VIII has taken place in Westminster Abbey.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is the Queen’s official London residence. Tourists always go to see the ceremony of changing the Guard there.
It is a beautiful place. This is one of London's most popular historical buildings. Buckingham Palace was built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham. When the Queen is here, the royal standard flut­ters over the palace. The ceremony of the Changing of the Guard that takes place daily at eleven o'clock in the morning.
